After I took the photos for this post I stamped the sentiment on the card. Recently my grandson visited. We hadn't seen him in several years so it was pretty special. When he was younger we used to say I Love You. The other person would say I Love You More. It is certainly an appropriate reminder for him of days long ago and memories we made together. While he was here we had several bunnies visit our yard. I'm hoping this card will connect with him of days gone by and new ones to come. Love you Zachary!
I started the card by embossing several white panels with different designs. By using a flexible rubber mat I can create a raised effect instead of actually using a die to cut a design. It adds texture to the background but doesn't take away from the main elements of the card. I backed the panel with a piece of foam and then cut out a circle.
I found a paper with tiny hearts and thought it was perfect. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut both panels and then mounted the white one over the hearts. You can clearly see the embossing in this photo. I colored the same bunny image from the kit that I've used several times, added the carrot and some sequins. And most important I attached the small pom pom to the tail. Have I ever showed you my sequin collection and how I store them?
A vision of rainbow sparkles!
Any guesses how many cards I'm going to make from the kit?
