Creative Olympic Challenge #2

I'm excited to be participating in the Creative Challenge at My Favorite Things.  This company not only has great products but always inspires me to work on projects that I might not tackle otherwise.  Challenge #2 is a freestyle event.  We must create a card in any style, with one exception, it has to have a winter theme.  I live in Florida and MFT headquarters is north about 3 hours, but STILL in Florida.  Not to be gloating, but it's hard to think it's winter.  I'm wearing shorts and it's a balmy 81 degrees.  But I don't have to worry as MFT has a lot of cute stamps that fit the winter theme.  So, here's my entry.

I made this card to celebrate our friends becoming grandparents for the first time.  You should be able to figure out the baby's gender from the card.  Yes, a BOY!  I used Orange Zest cardstock and cut an opening with the square peek-a-boo window die.  I love how this die makes the nice stitching around the cutout.  The polar bear has a Copic colored scarf and I popped him up with some foam.  I'm sending the card off with a Grandma photo brag book.  I think they will appreciate the card and gift.

I'm off to link my project up at the challenge blog.  Have a great day!
