MFT Sketch Challenge #341
A new week, a new sketch challenge at My Favorite Things. I'm really working hard to be the winner of one of these. Here's the sketch:
And here's my card.
I've been wanting to tear into the Roses All Over paper pack so I chose a red orange page and paired it with some matching cardstock. You will never guess what I used to make the curved borders on the top and bottom. The snowdrift die! It's amazing how creative you can be when you have to.
I cut a nice square from white cardstock. I then used the Friend word die and cut it from the orange cardstock 4 times. I stacked each letter on top of one another to make some real dimension and glued all them to the front panel. To add further interest I stamped the sentiment on a fishtail banner and popped it up on the square. The cute flowers are from the Pure Innocence Happy Together stamp. I thought they made the perfect element to finish off the card.
I'm off to link this post to the challenge website. I might have another card or two in me before the challenge ends. Have a great day!
