MFT Color Challenge 72, Part 2

My Favorite Things Color Challenge is still open for another 9 days.  I decided to create another card since I still had the Adorable Elephants stamp set out.

Same colors, same stamp but a completely different design.  I dipped a piece of watercolor paper in a couple of blue Distress inks and used the smooshing technique (an artists technical term) to create the main focal panel for this card.  While I let that dry I created the base from the same navy cardstock and also cut the stitched rounded frame.

The cute butterflies are in the same stamp set and I colored them red and added some detail with a white gel pen.  After using the matching die I popped them up with some tiny pieces of foam adhesive along with the colored elephant.

I used the same sentiment but stamped it on a rounded edge strip and sat the elephant right on top.  I'm going to pop over to the challenge site and link my card.  Now I have 2 cards eligible for a $50 gift voucher.  Hum, I'm liking these odds.
