MFT Shaker Card Challenge

This is my last entry for the Camp Create Challenges at My Favorite Things.  Today's card is a shaker.  These are very popular, fun to make and receive.

This is a graduation card for a special young man.  You can see the stamped book and globe image on the inside panel.  I colored it and then matched the sequins and stars to coordinate.  I stamped the small diploma and attached it to the outside of the acetate so it looks like it's floating.

You can see the shaker elements a little better in this photo.  I even lined the envelope to match the card.

I used some number dies and silver glitter paper for the year and did some simple stamping to finish it off.
I was really happy with the way this card turned out and I hope Daniel is too.

MFT Die Cut Challenge

Day 4 of My Favorite Things Camp Create Challenges has to do with using dies.  A few months ago they offered a kit called Beautiful Blooms.  It included a stamp set and dies.  I created several cards and love all the ideas using coordinated products.

Pretty, right?  The stamped flowers can be arranged any way you want.  The stamp set even has a vase.

Such soft, pretty colors.  I think I've got the challenge covered.  Thanks!
One more challenge to go.  Shaker cards.  Love these.

MFT Watercolor Challenge

I'm back with another MFT challenge.  Today is all about watercolor.  I haven't worked with my paints and water for awhile so it was nice to have an excuse to do so.  I have a new set of Starry Colors by Kuretake.  They are 6 different shades of gold.  Blue, red, yellow, champagne, light and white.

I did a couple of simple projects where I clear embossed a large sentiment and then brushed the gold paint over it.

I used a Zig Clear Color Brush Marker for the panel on the left.
Then I stamped a cute girl holding a sunflower with Versamark ink and used clear embossing powder and heat set it.

I used my watercolor markers and some gold paint touches to complete the panel.  I love the bright, sunny, summer colors.

Isn't she adorable!

Tomorrow is another MFT challenge.  Any guesses what the technique is?

MFT Slider Challenge

Hi.  Welcome back to Day 2 of My Favorite Things Camp Create Challenges.

Today's challenge was to make a project that includes a slider element or movement of some kind.  I don't have the supplies for a slider card so I went with the alternative.

I stamped the lamb image on white card stock, along with the sentiments.  I then stamped the image a second time and colored it with Copic markers.  I then adhered a "wobbler" on both sides and attached it to the card base.  Now it moves back and forth when you touch it.

This card turned out much better than I envisioned it.  Love when that happens!

Be sure to come back for the remaining challenges.  Thanks.

MFT Glitter Challenge

Here's a sweet card I made for My Favorite Things Camp Creative Challenge this week.

The focus for Day 1 is to create a project using glitter.  Even though the flower is the only element of this card with glitter, believe me the glitter was flying everywhere.  But hey, isn't that half the fun.  At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I love these Pure Innocence girls.  I have a whole stash of them in different themes.  A lot are retired and unavailable now.

So much fun getting all the glitter supplies out.  This is a good reminder that it's ok to get your sparkle on once in awhile.
