Timeless Elegance

Stampin' Up! has some beautiful pattern paper.  They usually come 12" x 12" and the package has several papers that coordinate together.  Timeless Elegance is the name of one group of papers that I bought.  It's so pretty I've been hestitant to cut up some of them.  But I finally broke down and did it.  I used the prettiest floral for the front of this card.

I cut the large sheet into 3" x 5" pieces, giving me 15 individual pieces to use for lots of cards.  I wanted to keep the rest of the card pretty simple to allow the focus to shine on the stunning floral so I mounted it on a slightly larger black mat.  I used a soft ribbon in Delightful Dijon and also matched the card base.

A simple sentiment stamped and then cut with a fishtail shape completes the card.  I'm thinking of using the same floral paper with other color combinations of ribbon and cardstock.  I have some beautiful watermelon and grass green that would look really nice with the paper.

Thanks for looking in today and just a reminder that I really enjoy any comments.
