A Special Watercolor Flower

A really special friend and I started watercoloring this flower together.  I was showing her the technique but we only got a few petals completed before she had to leave.  I finished the flower and used it as the focal image for this card.

I used a orange rust cardstock for the base and then die cut a piece of gold foil paper with this stripe cover plate.  It adds a striking accent to the flower.

I gold embossed the image to use the resist technique as we added the watercolors.  No two flowers will ever be the same.  So pretty.  What makes the card so special is that my friend and I worked on it together.  She has the card displayed in her home now.

It was so much fun sharing time and the craft I love with you K!
