Share The Joy Challenge #4

This is the last week of the Taylored Expressions Share The Joy Challenge for September.  I've been able to participate each week.  My card this week features an older TE stamp Autumn Wreath.

Here's the challenge sketch.

The woodgrain paper is from My Mind's Eye, a 6x6 paper pad called On The Bright Side.  A label on the back says 2012.  Seriously trying to use some of my paper stash.  I love the rusty color and the faux texture look it gives to the overall look of the card.  I used a dark chocolate card base and a mat of Very Vanilla.

After stamping the wreath I colored it with Copics.  I rounded the bottom right corners just like the sketch.

I colored the cute squirrel and cut it out to add to the side.

I added a pretty ribbon behind the wreath circle before adhering it to the card base.  I love how a card comes together even better than the idea in your mind.

My father, who is almost 90 and walks 3 miles a day, loves squirrels.  There is a squirrel joke he tells to EVERYONE he meets.  So dad, this squirrel card is going to remind you that I am nutty for you!
