I used three different Taylored Expressions stamps and dies to create this card. As soon as I saw the sprinkles in the photo I thought of this sentiment stamp. It's called Leave a Little Sparkle and is a stand alone stamp, making it a good value and also allows for lots of creativitity. I made the stamp the focus of my card.
My mind went from sparkle to sparklers and decided to create a few on either side of the sentiment. At least I hope that's what they look like. The wand of the sparkler was stamped from the Hey Sweet Tea stamp set. It's actually a straw but I loved how it had a striped design and was extra long so I could stamp it in various lengths to create my frame around the sentiment.
I found the perfect size star on another Taylored stamp and die set. It's called Birthday Bash and was the stamp of the month for February 2014. I used the die to cut stars in different colors for the sparklers. After coloring the sentiment I added a few silver star sequins to give it extra sparkle.
And here's the finished card again.
I am really loving this weekly challenge because I'm personally challenging myself to create projects using some of my older stamps. It's so much fun! Thanks for coming along on my "Joyful" journey.
