I'm a mother and a grandmother. And, like most, are very protective and supportive of my family. Recently, my son landed a very prestigious job at a bank. He is a computer genius and is now Assistant Vice-President of Data Warehouse Developer. Of course I had to recognize that achievement and did so with a congratulations card.
I love this paper that is bright but adaptable to so many designs. It's a new Designer Series Paper for Stampin' Up! called Bohemian. The colors and geometric designs are so modern. I thought it was perfect for my masculine project.
The Stars were cut from framelits that match stamps in a set called Be The Star. I think it looks cool with the different sizes and colors. I used a gold matte metallic button and twine to anchor the center stack of stars. I tucked a sentiment flag under the stack. The Delightful Dijon paper was a die that looks like a photo frame.
So my dear son, you are my shining star!
