I put together some Hello cards that turned out way nicer than I originally intended. Actually, I had a whole different direction I was going with the design and struggled and struggled with it. I set the cards aside for a few days and finally got back to working on them. What do you think?
I found these pattern papers in a pack I've had for a long time. I really like them but have always felt they didn't go with any card design I could think of. It was pretty easy to make the paper the focal point and I used it for 2/3 of the card front. I then chose a coordinating paper for the bottom portion and covered the seam with a matching ribbon.
I die cut the hello word 6 times, 3 for each card from white paper and then sponged ink on 2 of them in colors to match the paper. I stacked all three "hello" words on top of each other, gluing each. I'm definitely going to keep this card design as one of my sketches or templates so that I can make more like it.
Thanks for dropping by to say hello!
