Coloring Is Fun

Have you heard about what's all the rage?  Adult coloring books!  Yes, it's true.  Amazon cannot keep them in stock.  I found a couple at Books A Million and have been coloring up a storm.

I have these fancy watercolor markers.  I wish you could see how the paint just flows out.  They have a real brush tip, not a marker tip, so it's like real painting.  You can blend the colors with water to get a more muted look or use them full strength to get a vibrant color.  So, without further ado, here is the page I colored.

I love all the bright pretty colors I used.  It took a couple of days to complete the page.  I'm thinking of framing of it.

Here's a page in the book that is waiting for color.

So if you don't see a blog post for awhile, you'll know I'm coloring.

  1. I'm working on a coloring book too. Looks like the same book. Flower Designs by Jenean Morrison. Love this book and am ordering another one. What kind of fancy markers do you have?

  4. It's your style, your hues, your creative energy - you, you and you once more. Coloring books take you on a sentimental date... with you.
