Yeah Seahawks!!!

My daughter and her boyfriend live in Seattle and are HUGE football fans.  They attend as many games as they can.  Yes, even in the rain.  She sends me photos and keeps me advised of all the fun they're having.  A company where I buy sequins for my cards is also based in Seattle.  Maybe you've heard of it, Pretty Pink Posh.  Not to be confused with Pink Posh Cards, although I LOVE her sequins.  All the colors, sparkle and bling.  She has individual colors but Paulina also puts together some specialty mixes.  One of them is called Seattle Spirit Sequins Mix.

There are approximately 300 sequins in the package of metallic blue, metallic silver, and metallic green.  They are exclusive to her shop.  Hurry and get yours before she runs out.  As you know the Seahawks won the Super Bowl in 2013 and have an excellent chance again.  Today's game will be special.  So, in honor of the Seahawks I made a couple of cards for Charles and Cheryl.

Seahawks-1

Seahawks-5

I had so much fun putting these cards together.  I knew I wanted to make a shaker card so I used the football image that would show off the sequins.  I mounted a blue panel onto brushed silver card base and added some fun green twine.  I love how all the metallic sequins dance around the football.

Seahawks-4

I thought the Superman Seahawk image was perfect for the front of the second card.  This time I started with a green card base and added a brushed silver panel.  I used a square die to cut the image leaving a nice white border.

Seahawks-7

I created the pennant tag in Publisher making the letters green outlined in blue.  A photo of someone special is on the inside of the card.

Mr-Kitty-1

His name is Mr. Kitty.  Isn't he handsome?  And such a pose!  He likes to curl up with Cheryl and Charles while they watch the games.  Sometimes he even takes over the blankets.  So, this is my salute to the Seahawks and to C & C.  Be looking for these cards in the mail.

C-&-C-1

Love you guys!!!
