Card #3 - Cutting Edge Blog Hop

cuttingedgeToday is the last day to participate in the Cutting Edge Blog Hop hosted by Pretty Pink Posh.  I've enjoyed all the projects that have been submitted and found lots of blogs I now want to visit.  The anticipation has been building and tomorrow some winners will be announced.  Several great companies are offering prizes and I'm anxious to see the fun.    Here is my 3rd and final card for the hop.

I decided to use the circles from the PPP Stitched Duo 2 die as the main accent of my card.  I cut them from a dark blackberry paper and lined them down the side.  I love the dramatic look.  I stamped a sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed it with a light orchid powder by WOW.  The raised text is much prettier than it shows in the photo.

See how the stitching is emphasized in the close up.  Love it!  The white panel is slightly narrow so the pattern paper card base shows through.  I adhered a smaller white panel inside to write a greeting.

You have until midnight PST to visit Pretty Pink Posh and get all the details of the hop and add your project.  Glad you stopped by!
