FTHS Sketch #53

Hi.  It's Monday and time for another weekly sketch at From The Heart Stamps.  Here's it is.

10 February Sketch053

It's an easy one this time.  If you've never tried to make a card from a sketch before, this is a good time to try.  You can turn the sketch horizontal or even upside down.  It's a lot of fun to experiment.  Here's my card based on the sketch.

I started with the adorable Flower Pot Chick image.  How cute is he popping up among the flowers!  I used a soft color scheme and colored him to match my papers.  I printed the sentiment from Balancing Hearts Sentiments and punched it in an oval shape.  Then I topped it off with some thin ribbon.  Easy peasy.  EVERYONE who enters the sketch challenge will receive $1 to spend at FromTheHeartStamps. Use it as a discount, or save your dollars to earn a free stamp. The link will close on Sunday at 10PM CST.  Come along and play.  You have the whole week to have fun creating.

  1. So very, very cute! I love that little birdie! Thinking of you and praying all your many tasks in the days ahead go smoothly. Call me if there's anything I can do to help.

  2. How in the world are you having time to do this? I love the simplicity of this card. I like the layout of the wide margin at the top. It is amazing how often we need a quick, simple, card. You continue to impress me with your work. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Sweet image, pretty colors, and I love that retired patterned paper (sigh - they retire them too soon) :)
