Your Next Stamp Design Team Call

I have a special post today.  Your Next Stamp, a fantastic company, is looking for design team members for a brand new line of digital stamps.  I own several YNS rubber stamps and they are adorable, cute and whimsical.  I can't wait to see what these new digital stamps look like.

I have 3 projects to share with you that feature YNS stamps.

Lots of you have seen and even made the cute French fry boxes that have been so popular.  Here is my version.

I call them Diva Day Boxes and you can see why.  Wouldn't these make fun favors for a bridesmaid spa day?  Or a girlfriends get together?  Or tons of other occasions?  I used YNS Bad Hair Day Fhiona, although I think she looks really good.  Just imagine these cute boxes in other color combinations.  And of course the boxes could hold candies, cookies, small teacher gifts, etc.  The possibilities are endless.

My next project is a cute card with some 3D elements.

Tea Time Fhiona and her kitty are the star of the show.  When I saw this stamp I knew I wanted to make the image a scene in a window.  I constructed the card so that pieces of cardstock extended out to become part of the opening.  After stamping and coloring Fhiona and her kitty I cut them out and placed the image behind a couple of grassy strips to represent the outdoors.  I love how it turned out and I must say it's one of my favorite cards.

Fhiona's cat, Willow, is the center of attention in my last project for today.

I have a soft spot for kitties, and I don't even have one!!!  Willow comes with her own throne.  I colored the image to match the papers I used.  Can you see the paw prints on the patterned paper?  How adorable is that!  I made a matching treat bag with a clear window so that Sis (the happy cat who got the treats) could drool with anticipation.  Notice the treats are heart shaped.

So, head over to YNS to see what's new for August.  They are celebrating and something FREE is included with a $25 purchase!

Also, please wish me the best on my design team submission.  I'll let you know.

XOXOXO

Here is another card I made for Papertrey Ink's make it Monday challenge.  I used the Heart Prints stamp set.  It's an older set but I love hearts so much that I could use them on everything.  I chose one of the medium size images and stamped it across the top and bottom with chocolate ink.  The little xoxo stamp made the perfect border.  I even used the tiny heart for the background of the smaller mat.

The two main hearts were stamped on teal paper.  This card came together so fast and easy that I hate to say it was work.  Wouldn't this make a great wedding or anniversary card?  Just think of the color combinations.  Endless possibilities.

Have a great day!

Make it Monday #128-Stamping Random Background Patterns

I had so much fun playing with the challenge from Papertrey Ink this week.

The challenge was to use small stamps and ink them randomly to create a fun and unique background.  I would never have pushed myself to try this so I'm glad I participated in the challenge.  I took a piece of white cardstock and used 3 different flower stamps from Beautiful Blooms.  The ones I chose were actually the centers of the flowers and it was nice to use those in a different way.  I chose 3 ink colors that coordinated and went to town stamping.  I finished off the card with Boutique Borders: Love stamp and die.  I stamped the word Love in versamark and heat embossed it.  A pretty pink satin ribbon bow completes the card.  This technique makes it quick and easy to make lots of card projects at a time.

Thanks for stopping by!
