Papertrey Ink July 2013 Blog Hop Challenge

It's time for another monthly challenge from Papertrey Ink.  This month's theme is all the bright citrus colors of the Fruits of Summer.  There were several color combinations to choose from but I don't think I stuck to just one.  Here are the inspiration photos.

Fruits-of-Summer-1

Fruits-of-Summer-2

Fruits-of-Summer-6

Actually this is only 3 of 6 color inspiration photos.  Head over to Papertrey Ink's blog to view all the details of this month's challenge.

I decided to design a cover for a small spiral notebook.

I'm sure lots of you have trouble keeping track of your stamps and dies you purchase from different companies.  I have actually been known to purchase something I already own.  Can you imagine that!!!

The pretty green striped paper sets the background for the bright fruity colors of the flowers.  I used the Rosie Posie original and 2 step stamp sets.  It's so much fun to put together different colors and have each one a surprise.  I used the matching dies to perfectly cut the flowers and leaves.  I am definitely a bling girl so I had to add some Stickles to the flowers.  All in all, I love how it turned out and am now ready to start filling the pages with my Papertrey Ink collection.

Thanks for stopping by!
