I (heart) Card Sketch No. 36

This week's sketch for From The Heart Stamps was a fun one for me.  I wanted to use the Autumn Mums digital image but in a totally different way.  Here's my card.

Breast Cancer Awareness is near and dear to my heart so I colored the image with various shades of pink with a touch of aqua.  The flowers were accented with Stickles.  The name was Crystal and it has an aqua glow when you move the card.  The strip at the bottom of the image is washi tape and I colored in a couple of the arrows to tie it together with the image.  I used pink cardstock as the base and matted it with a black polka dot paper.  I love the gray and white chevron paper.  I think it's the perfect contrast to the rest of my paper choices.  I used a Epiphany Crafts heart embellishment and glitter paper to complete the sketch.

The Stickles looks messy in this photo but I think it's the way the light is shining on it.  It also is more aqua on the card.  I really like the non-traditional look of this card and it also shows how you can think outside the box when using your stamps.  Thanks for stopping by!
