September Calendar Page

Fall is just beginning in September but it's the start of crisp evenings, bonfires and leaves turning all red and golden.  It's also the time that apples ripen to that golden or red color just right for picking and especially for eating.  Today's page is about honoring that time.

I can taste the crunch of apple flesh with the sweet juiciness running down my chin.  My scene was put together using Daydream Designs School Days Color Digi Set.  I used the shadowed basket of apples and then layered the yellow plaid ones at the bottom.  The set comes with so many images that are perfect for other September themes.  Books, a school bus, a desk, chalkboards, lunch pails and sacks.  29 designs for $5.95!!!!!  Just think of how many projects you could make with all the images.  Back to school teacher gifts, a family school calendar to keep straight all the students activities, etc.

Now is a good time to get started on your digital projects since it's the cold winter months.  Then you'll be ready to go pick apples!

  1. Such a cute page. Love the plaid apples! I've never noticed those before.

  2. Vicki your calendar is gorgeous what an awesome piece of art to look at all year.

  3. Another fabulous design, Vicki! I'm just loving this project. So creative, and well done. When put together this will make an amazing calendar with lovely artwork to enjoy all year long.
