Daydream Designs Day Three

Today is the final day of Daydream Designs September Blog Hop.  I have a true fall card for you.  After all, the first day of fall is just around the corner.  I started with the Bushel and a Peck Color Set.  It comes with an empty basket, a basket of apples, a basket of leaves and a basket of gourds.  The images come in JPEG and PNG files so that they can be used in lots of fall projects.

I knew I wanted to layer the images so I began with the small basket of gourds.  I positioned it on my paper and got the size I wanted.  I then made a mirror copy and flipped it to face the opposite direction.  I layered the large basket of leaves in the center, overlapping the bottoms of the two gourd baskets.  It sounds complicated but it's actually very easy.

Really Rust is the cardstock base.  I added a few different patterned papers and left it at that.  The sentiment comes in a set called Fall is in the Air.

Such a fallish card, don't you think?

  1. Vicki, this is amazing! I love the layout of the images. It's so fun to layer, stack, flip and turn. That flexibility is what I love most about digi stamps. And what a time saver the colorized ones are. A great example of all the best things about digi images. Could you tell us what cardstock you use to print out your digis. The second photo you have here almost looks like watercolor paper. Anyway, your colors are so vibrant and beautiful. Love the card sketch and choices in bg papers too. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
