Gingerloft Vintage Challenge

I've had some serious issues with my blog but all is fixed now and I'm back to my regular post routine.

Remember the "good ole days"?  My card today is all about the past.  The theme this time at Gingerloft is Vintage.  I was scrolling through the available images at Gingerloft when I came across this old gas station.  It's perfect for the theme and for summertime thinking.  Goodness, we have come a long way since the gas stations of the past.  I remember a gallon was 25 cents.  How about the rest of you.  What is the cheapest you remember?  If you reveal it, you will be showing your age!  Oh well, that's why they call it the past.

Isn't this the cutest!  Very nostalgic.  I colored the image with Copic markers to match the travel papers.  I mounted the image on a slightly larger chipboard circle and then used distress ink to give it that old look.

This would be a nice card to send to someone heading off on a road trip vacation.  Hope you enjoy!
