Cornish Heritage Farm Challenge

This is a fun day!  CHF's bi-monthly challenge.  The theme for today is "Anything Goes", which means the design team has free expression to make a card or project using ANY rubber or digital stamp.  Check out the CHF website.  There are so many choices.  And you can start creating right away if you purchase and download any of the digital stamps.  Put a few rubber stamps in your cart also to start or add to your collection.  Always check the CHF Blog for news and inspiration.

All the pretty gardens and flowers blooming was the starting point for my card today.  Every day is new and bright.  Every flower that blooms is a wonder and glorious creation.  I used the digital image, Buttercups, for the body of my card.  I printed it on cream cardstock and colored it with several rose and pink Copic markers.

Can't you image this same image in yellow, purple or blue?  So many choices!  I used a grass green cardstock for the base of my card.  I then layered it with some old SU patterened paper, Springtime Vintage.  I love the oval shape I chose for the buttercups.  I matted it with a slightly larger oval which compliments the pink coloring of the flowers.  I couldn't help but add the dimensional butterflies.  After all, they are part of the garden scene too.

Please take a peek at the rest of the design team's creations.  You can find the links on my right sidebar.  See you next time!
