Fun Treat Sacks

I've been working on a paper project that's been a lot of fun.  It's little treat sacks with a paper topper with different designs.  Here's a photo.

My work space is covered with candy, sacks, paper, scissors and glue.  I got some clear gusseted cellophane sacks and put 6 or 7 wrapped candies in each one.  I used a die cut in a fancy label design and cut lots of them from cardstock and paptterned paper.  I scored each topper in half, folded down the sack and stapled it shut.  Then the fun began.  I used scraps of paper (who doesn't have lots of that) to make the front of the sacks cute and pretty.  I matted some of the scraps to make it extra special.  Then I went to my stash of stickers and ribbon and matched the colors to the paper.  As you can see they are so darn cute!  I attached one of my new business cards to the back of the sack to cover the staple.

Here's a close up photo.

I even tried to color coordinate the candy to the paper and stickers!

I got about 20 of these done and took them in a pretty basket to my local hair salon.  The owner has them displayed on a shelf in her shop.  $3.00 each or two for $5.00.  What do you think?  I'm working on more treat sacks and plan on featuring them on my website.

Hum, think I need a chocolate fix.  I know right where I can get some candy!!!
