Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 152

Woo hoo!!!  We have snow.  After a mild winter we finally have some snow on the ground.  Now, I am not a winter person, but it's ok if I get to stay in the house and work in my craft room.  And that's just what I've been doing.  Today's card gets me thinking about SPRING.

I decided to use the challenge sketch from Taylored  Expressions.  It's number 152.  Here's what the sketch looks like.

A sketch is just an idea of how to design your card.  So here's what I did.  I used Lupine, Chablis and Snow White cardstock.  The pattern paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle, Cupcake Love.  I love the pink and purple colors!  The stamp is from TE's Hello Spring set that has 20 different stamps.  Really a fun set.  I used glitter pens to color the sentiment.  It was just the right touch to go with the sparkly paper.  A strip of Stampin' Up! Rich Razelberry ribbon finishes the design.  So, what do you think?  Leave me a comment.  I'd love to hear from you.

Here's a close up so you can see the sparkle.

Have a fantastic day!

  1. How cute is this? I love that you made a spring card. Makes me think of the warmer weather that's to come. Such happy colors too. The ribbon is just gorgeous. It's so rich it pops off the card!! Thank you for playing along with TESC!
