Good morning. I've been rushing around putting together a card for MFT's January Guest Designer. I got this idea in the middle of the night. Isn't that how all great ideas come about? I used background paper that fit the "scene" I wanted and went from there. The stormy clouds were cut with MFT's Cloud Trio Die-Namic. So easy! I used two different papers and sponged the edges with SU Baja Breeze ink.
The darling girl is Pure Innocence My Umbrella stamp. Her raincoat just cries out to be paper-pieced. The neat thing is I only did the pockets and boots as the background paper served as the fabric for her coat. Don't you just want an umbrella like hers? Too cute. I used SU papers Baja Breeze and Basic Gray. The other papers are from MME, Darling Dear. The 6x6 paper pads make it very easy to coordinate designs and colors. I have a friend who is ill. Hopefully this card will bring a smile to her face. Thanks for stopping by.
