Hi everyone. Today I have a card to show you that showcases Gingerloft Designs. This is my first card using their digital stamps. I'm very excited to be on their design team.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. He took me on a two week trip to sunny Florida. We stayed in Ft. Myers and went to the beach A LOT. It was so peaceful and relaxing, seeing the water of the Gulf of Mexico. The weather was perfect and the water warm. This stamp was just the right thing to make a card to remember the trip.
I used Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla paper from SU. All the other papers are from MME Darling Dear. I chose them because of the sunny tropical colors. I printed some text below the digital image. That's what's so cool. You can resize, add text, borders or other elements when you work with digital. You can even combine images together. I colored the beach scene with markers, matching the bathing suits with the colors in the papers. Of course, the Baja Breeze paper is so like the real water it was an easy pick.
I think the sand coloring is especially good. It almost looks like the real thing!
|I even added a couple of real shells we picked up off the beach!|
So, thanks for taking the time to visit me today. Look for another Gingerloft Design challenge on January 22nd.
