Gingerloft Snow Card

Hi.  Thanks for looking in to see what I've been up to.  Today I have a card that I designed for Gingerloft Digi Designs.  Our theme this time is SNOW.  That's easy, right?  It's winter after all.  However, we've had a really mild winter so far here in KC.  We really haven't had any snow to speak of.  It is pretty when it falls and lands on the trees.  So, I decided to use the digital stamp called, Winter Tree. 

This is a black and white image that needs nothing added to it.  I printed it and put it on red cardstock to enhance the tree.  I overlayed an acrylic sheet printed with white snowflakes.  It looks like the snow is falling in the forest.  I used some printed paper with black and white designs.  I love the herringbone paper with this.  Outlining the card layers with solid color cardstock shows off all the elements. 

The inside of the card has a beautiful sentiment that reflects the quiet solitude of winter.  Please visit Gingerloft to see what the other design team members have made for today's snow theme.  See you soon!
